Do I need to stick the carpet tiles down?

 

Carpet tiles don’t necessarily need to be stuck down in small areas, but if you use carpet tile adhesive it will hold the carpet tiles in place and make fitting easier. In a large area it is not necessary to cover the entire floor with carpet tile adhesive but can be done in grid formation. Areas around doors, stairs etc should have full coverage of carpet tile tackifier.

Can I get more of the same carpet tiles if necessary?

 

Our regular range are all repeatable carpet tiles which you will be able to get more of the same, however, there may be a slight difference in shade with different production batches.

What is the delivery time?

 

We carry a large stock of carpet tiles in our warehouse and aim to despatch all orders received before 12 noon on the same day. Delivery is usually 2 to 3 days.

Can I return unused carpet tiles?

 

Yes you can return carpet tiles which have been unused, provided the box is unopened. All returns may be subject to a 10% handling charge.

How much is delivery on returns?

 

Cost of returns is the customer’s responsibility.

How much is delivery?

 

Delivery to all UK mainland addresses and Ireland on all orders over 20 boxes is free of charge, orders under 20 boxes is charged at £5 per box with a maximum charge is £30. Please contact us for delivery outside mainland areas.

Where can deliveries be made to?

 

We can deliver carpet tiles worldwide.

Do I have to pay VAT?

 

VAT is charged on all orders (including delivery charges) delivered within the UK. Deliveries to other European countries is usually exempt of VAT providing we receive a valid VAT registration number.

How many carpet tiles are in a box?

 

Carpet tiles are all boxed in 20 tiles per box.

What is the carpet tile thickness?

 

Tile thickness varies in each range, normally 6 – 7mm, however, the carpet tile thickness does not impact on the wear of the carpet tiles. The pile weight and wear classification is more important when judging the quality of the carpet tile.

What is the “Wear Classification”?

 

All floorcoverings are given a European wear classification number.
The most common ones for carpet or carpet tiles is as follows: Class 21 Moderate Domestic Use, Class 22 General Domestic Use, Class 23 Heavy Domestic Use, Class 31 Moderate Commercial Use, Class 32 General Commercial Use, Class 33 Heavy Commercial Use.

What is the difference in Nylon and Polypropylene?

 

Carpet tiles made with Nylon yarn are generally a harder wearing product than those made with Polypropylene yarn.

Are Carpet Tiles suitable for use with caster Chairs?

 

Our carpet tiles are all tested for use with caster chairs. Each range will give a caster chair rating, either, Continuous Use Or Occasional Use

Do you sell second quality carpet tiles?

 

Unlike other carpet tile sites, we do NOT sell second quality carpet tiles. We have a large stock of clearance lines which are either discontinued products or small quantity end of lines, thus the high discount.

Are the carpet tiles guaranteed?

 

Yes, all of our carpet tiles are guaranteed. Nylon tiles and those that achieve a Class 33 wear classification are guaranteed for 10 years and lower classifications are guaranteed for 5 years. However, expected lifespan is much more.

We guarantee our prices will not be beaten on a like for like product. We buy in bulk and therefore we are able to offer incredible value for money by passing on the savings to our customers.

They are also significantly less expensive than hard surfaces (while adding some warmth and color to your room).
